Every summer we receive many inquiries about abandoned baby bunnies. Don't assume bunnies need to be rescued if you have not seen the mother at the nest. Wild rabbits only nurse for a few minutes every 24 hours. Be on the lookout for nests when mowing the lawn or gardening. If you've accidentally disturbed a nest, put the babies back, restore the fur/grass covering and leave them alone! The mother will usually move them within 48 hours. More info...
